The purpose is to invite you to have a look, comment, ask, interact, criticize… or, basically, whatever you like. If you like the book or you are a friend –two facts that rarely coincide-, I would appreciate it if you could pass on the link to this space to your friends. This is my first blog as well as my first book in English/Galician. The book, the blog and I were born in September. I love coincidences, although they don’t mean anything. Or everything.

In the last spring, I met the people from the Scottish Centre of Galician Studies -at the University of Stirling- who have sponsored this creative experiment. What happens when a Galician poet writes in English while living in Scotland? Well, nothing happens, although the experimental nature of the project is undeniable. Personally, it has been a stimulating experience, a journey on a boat made of a few planks.

The book is thus bilingual. More than a translation from English to Galician, I’ve made an interpretation. That’s the advantage of translating your own work. However, every translation is an interpretation; at least that’s my non-absolute truth.
